patients is of great importance so that the objective of
restoring completely its oral cavity, returning both the
function, as well as the aesthetics and harmony thereof, is
fulfilled. A good coordination between the different
professionals that cover the field of dentistry is
fundamental for the realization of effective and efficient
dental treatments. In this work of End of Career in
Dentistry, belonging to the University of Zaragoza, two
clinical cases will be presented individually, with the aim
of carrying out an interdisciplinary treatment of both
patients, helping us with the combination of the different
branches of the odontology. The first case deals with a
patient with severe chronic generalized periodontitis, who
undergoes a prophylactic treatment, combined with a
periodontal, prosthetic, endodontic and implant treatment
in order to achieve a general oral rehabilitation. The
second case, in turn, deals with a dolichofacial patient,
who presents an open bite in addition to a premature
partial edentulism and class II division I of Angle, which
has caused a loss of the posterior vertical dimension. In
both cases, we have made a thorough diagnosis, explaining
the different treatment options and detailing the sequence
of procedures performed in the chosen treatment option.
Finally, the results obtained in each one of the patients
are discussed.",
