Therefore the following tasks have to be accomplished: • Description of all relevant bluetooth technology issues • State of the art search for bluetooth and other radiocommunication applications in machine comp onents, especially clamping devices • Evaluation and selection of available transmission hardware, software version and programming tools • Coding and implementation of an app to evaluate and display received clamping force data • Validation of the functionality with provided sample data • Characterization of perturbations in an industrial environment.
