Resumen: Resulta evidente que el Ingeniero Civil, aunque no se especialice en el diseño o en la ejecución de redes ferroviarias, debe conocer las diversas formas estructurales y sus correspondientes funciones. El propósito de esta asignatura es dotar al futuro egresado de conocimientos básicos para el diseño de líneas de ferrocarril.

Abstract: It is obvious that the Civil Engineer, although no specialized in the design or implementation of railway networks must learn about the different structural forms and their corresponding functions. The teaching of this subject is the responsibility of the teacher of the Department of Law, Urban and Regional Planning of the EUPLA, Ms. Rosa Vicente Vas.
