The comparative analysis presented shows the presence of women in the Aragonese press with a chronological cut of 6 years (2007-2013), whereas the government has changed and Spain is immersed in a process of economic crisis and corruption. The two referential newspapers Heraldo de Aragon and Periodico de Aragon are compared, describing and quantifying the space as well as their characteristics. The analysis is based on the theory of the Agenda-setting, where linguistic and journalistic treatment is analyzed. Significant differences are presented in conclusions.
Los medios de comunicación ofrecen una narrativa propia que está basada en su jerarquización interna, a la que afecta su propia ideología y la del partido político en el poder. Se presenta un estudio comparado que visibiliza la presencia de la mujer en la prensa aragonesa con un corte cronológico de 6 años (2007-2013), en los que ha cambiado de signo el gobierno y España está inmersa en un proceso de crisis económica y corrupción. Se comparan los dos periódicos de referencia Heraldo de Aragón y el Periódico de Aragón. Se describe y cuantifica el espacio dedicado y sus características. El análisis gira en torno a la teoría de la Agenda-setting, y se analiza el tratamiento lingüístico y periodístico. Las diferencias son significativas y presentadas en conclusiones.
