While, Performance" mainly pertains to the economic outcomes, productivity, and resilience of the construction sector and its impact on the broader economy. Second, If the productivity shocks spillovers transmitted towards other firms in the same industry and other firms in the same region? Third about the transmission mechanism / channels of these spillovers i.e., imitation / workers mobility. The concept of "performance" is central here that explore productivity shocks, spillover effects, and their impact on firms and industries. Here, "performance" refers to the efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness of firms with in 20 manufacturing sectors and 17 regions of Spain for almost two decades.
